Your memories are not public. Recollect does not sell personal information or use your content for advertising.
Who can access your records?
Your records belong to your account. Service providers process information only as needed to run Recollect; information may also be disclosed when required by law or for safety. Google data is not read by humans except with your permission, for security, or to comply with law.
You choose what to connect
Google connections are optional. Calendar permissions support events and requested reminders; Photos lets you choose pictures to import; Contacts keeps your People list up to date. You can disconnect Google in Settings or revoke access in your Google Account.
What happens when AI is used?
Recorded audio goes to a transcription provider. AI tools help transcribe, organize memories and read selected documents. Suggestions can be wrong: review important details. Google data is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
Export, delete, or turn it off
Privacy settings let you export records as JSON or CSV, choose retention, permanently delete connected Google data, or delete your account. Location and notifications are optional and can be turned off; background place reminders require Pro and phone permissions.
Free keeps the essentials. Plus adds voice, Calendar and push reminders. Pro adds photos, contacts and place reminders. New accounts begin with a 7-day Pro trial.
